Shipping & Returns
Freight
All products ship from one of our manufacturer’s facilities. Your freight is calculated
dependent upon both your location and the location of the appropriate manufacturer.
That is, Jaypro ships from Connecticut, Bison ships from Nebraska, Spalding ships from
either Iowa or Kentucky and Porter ships from Illinois. This means that in some cases
while the product from one manufacturer maybe slightly more expensive, if you are
located closer to another manufacturer, the shipping cost may make the delivered
product less expensive.
All shipments are generally made by FedEx Ground or UPS (smaller packages). Larger
items will ship by common carrier (truck).
âš« All shipments will be prepaid and the cost added to your invoice unless you request a third party billing.
âš« Under no circumstances will Mountain States Sports Equipment (MSSE) be responsible for special charges levied by any carrier including but not limited to lift gate, call ahead, residential, inside delivery, or other non-standard charges. If any of these services are required, please contact MSSE to arrange and pay for the service.
Damaged Goods (In Transit)
âš« Goods damaged or suspected of being damaged during shipment should NOT be signed for until you have noted the damage on the freight bill. It is your responsibility to notify MSSE and we will proceed to replace or refund you for the item. You will have 5 days after receipt to notify us of the damage as noted on the freight bill.
Rush Orders
âš« Rush orders if identified at the time of ordering will receive expedited shipping but an
additional charge will be levied and we must be notified at order placement. Not all
orders are able to be expedited.
Shipment Refusal
âš« If you refuse to receive an order, even if it is damaged or for any other reason, you will
be charged for all freight (both delivery and return) and a minimum restocking fee of
40% of the invoice with a minimum of $100 being charged.
Return Authorization
To return an item please contact Mountain States Sports Equipment (801.735.5559) within 30 days of shipment. A representative will issue a Return Authorization (RMA). Please note: Custom items are not returnable. Items returned in like new condition and without defect will be issued a credit, minus a restocking fee, to be applied for use with future orders. Items must be returned in original packaging and shipped prepaid in accordance with Mountain States Sports Equipment’s approved shipping instructions. Please indicate the RMA number on the shipping label.
